just finished watching this film and i must say one of the better movies i've watched this year. great sceneary, excellent acting with an action filled plot.

if you check out one movie over the holidays i suggest you watch this one.

I've spoken to a good family friend who has a thick South African accent herself, she was born and lived there for a significant period of time (she's in her 50s) who said he pulled the accent off pretty well.

Granted one person isn't the be all and end all of accent police but if a wolf in a wool coat can fool a wise old sheep, he sure as shit can fool a squirrel watching the whole charade. HOW'S THAT FOR AN ANALOGY!?!

I liked the movie. It may not be as historically accurate as a Mel Gibson movie (bwahahaha) but it didn't really bastardize anyone and kept me entertained throughout.
