What an amazing movie!

One of those flicks that will definately stimulate some good convos for the next year or so. Everything about it from the technology, to the climate, to the action scenes and the camera work make the film feel like you're actually in it. When all these scientists, political activists, and scholars talk about their theories on Global warming, or terrorism, immigration etc its really hard to paint a picture of what the future might actually look like. I found this movie was that picture. Not bar graphs based on the last 50 years of scientific findings but an actual "year 2027" experience.

The day i finished the book i saw a preview for the first time. It looks great, i can't wait to see it.

Saw this film this weekend with no real idea about what it was about.

Great movie with a nice edge to it.

The only irony that was blatant is with such a bleak future we still have to kill each other to die early.

Didn't see that there was a thread already about it, my bad.

I didn't like it that much, good concept like I said in the thread I started... but I found it to be unrealistic at times and almost stupidly funny

it's like, when i go to see a movie based on a fictional novel about a post-apocalyptic future where man has suddenly lost the ability to reproduce and everyone listens to roots manuva there's just a certain amount of realism i expect

Still a neat look at society on the way down the shitter, and i liked the rickshaws.
