Favourite director?

Mine is Jim Jarmusch. His movies are fantastic and almost always on a more intelligent level than most of the low brow bullshit coming out these days.

My recommendations would be 'Broken Flowers', 'Coffee and Cigarettes', 'Dead Man', and 'Sling Blade'. He didn't actually direct Sling Blade... just acted in it, but he was good at that as well.

Great choice, Erik! Not his best movie but still a great one. I have to say that's probably the best second post I could have hoped for.
