'alan smithees' coffee

it struck me as hilarious when i was at a cinema in victoria last week and at the concession they had 'alan smithee' brand coffee

for those who don't know... alan smithee is a pseudonom commonly used by hollywood directors who don't want a film credited to their name.

so what does that say about the coffee i wonder?

The coffee actually gets a mention in the Wikipedia entry for Alan Smithee. Probably the Cineplex management wanted a movie-related name for their coffee so that's why they picked that Smithee name.
