This movie is beyond excellent! i saw it in theatres last year and just rented it last night again..3 hours is not enough!
It's got such a nice story to it..and the scenery and everything is soo beautiful..makes me wanna be an elf...
ahhh can't wait till "The Two Towers" is out..

* and damn the dude with the long white hair..i think he's an elf..he's such a cutie patootie..

i couldn't get into the book. and i read fantasy!

the movie was sweet though. mor for the visuals then the story though. well... the story and ideas are alright but the characters are two bland.

personally i am eager to watch the second one
the movie is close to the book...follows the same story line (if they had've of changed that i would've gotten my sword, christopher tolkien and we'd go director hunting) only a few minor differences...i wanted to see tom bombadill :(

I'm really anxious to see the new creature effects!! They did the Dark Riders, orcs, and the Balrog justice in FotR. Now I can't wait for the improved Nazgul, the Ents, and a certain arachnid at the end :250

i loved it, i have been meaning to read the books again for the longest time but every time i try to read i fall asleep.
i am looking forward to seeing the 2nd movie.

I saw it... I liked the movie.. but I found it too long... :( I cant sit there and watch the whole thing for some reason.. it just bores me.. yet it is a good movie... though... not really my thing.. but I do wanna see the second one!

the first one is sooo fucking boring compared to the second one man...i can't wait until i can slap them onto the big screen and watch all of them in a row.

yeah......saw it in the theatres when it came out...........although it would have been better viewing if the dude next to me stopped whispering to himself "excellent," "awsome," and stuff like "by the sword of (something or other)," in every scene.

this i found odd considering he shooshed me in the previews!! lamer.

good movie..........have it on dvd.
