Kevin Smith!

Trained at our very own Vancouver Film School I *heart* his movies. The vast majority of them are just so good in at least one way.

Anyway...what's your favourite?

I'd have to go with Mallrats

I'd have to say Dogma but Clerks and Chasing Amy are following real close behind.
On top of his movies I'm sure some of you know that he also writes comic books...thats where he got his start into the medium of 'entertainment' as it were.
Some of his best runs are#1-112 of Daredevil Vol. 2, Green Arrow Vol.2, and hes is currently writing a Spider-MAn/Black Cat crossover. If you like the humor in his movies you can definitely enjoy the humor in his writing as well.

I loved Chasing Amy. It proves my theory that labels suck.

You all totally have to watch "Vulgar". It's Kevin Smith's first dramatic movie. It's only on video, it never came to major theatres. Man, was it ever fawked up! That's all I have to say about that!
