American Massive - Sex, DRugs, Rave & Roll - Portrait Of A New Generation?
Moonshine Records has released a DVD that is supposed to be a short documentary on the rave scene. This 1hr 20min DVD was filmed during the Moonshint Overamerica 2000 Tour. A lot of Moonshine artists including Keoki, John Kelly, Cirrrus, D:Fuse, Miro, Ak:1200 & Frankie Bones are interviewed on the dvd.
Here is my opinion on this thing. I honestly thought it was gonna be a documentary, but it ended up being the DJ's rambling on about stupid shit that people already know about. For people who have never been to a party this thing is confusing. And for someone who has been to a few parties its kinda lame.
They dont really interview anyone, almost seems like random people talking. They didn't even have any good dance scenes. Thank god I got a discount @ HMV, if not, I'd be really pissed off for paying $25.99 for this thing. I don't recommonend anyone purchasing this thing, rent it if you can. The only good part is the interview with Frankie Bones @ the end. Dude's drunk and he rambles on for like 10min.
