use bit torrent. youll need to get a client (bitcomet or bittorrent or whatever) and visit sites like Mininova : The ultimate BitTorrent source! or isoHunt - World's largest BitTorrent and P2P search engine to search for the shows and download them.

the only problem is that if you use shaw and you use torrents a lot, after a while they'll cripple your speeds.. but if you leave it alone for a while you'll get fast speeds again.

OR you can pay for a newsgroups subscription and download stuff super fast (one episode of an hour long show in under 10 miN! whee!)

there used to be a GREAT EZTV distro group website but it's since disappeared within the past year and a half.

I do that already for free with a private tracker.

You just gotta get yourself invited.
