My impressions were: fucking idiots, racist bigots, stupid, degenerate, ignorant (on a _massive_ scale!), but, ultimately, pathetic.

While "White Pride" is arguably a noble cause (think about it: Gay Pride, Black Pride, Jewish Pride, etc...), it's their inexcusable outward manifestation of hate towards innocents that totally corrupts any integrity they may hope to bolster.

An interesting doc of pure backwoods hick/redneck racism.
Worthy to watch.

The documentary was produced in 1993 in case you were wondering.

It's sad that people could have so much hatred against another, simply because of the colour of their skin.
But at the same time Bill Riccio is almost acting like a saviour to these kids.
They come from broken homes with abusive parents, and he took them in off the streets.
He took all their hatred and focused it... into a racist movement.

I think it's good for someone to feel confident in themselves, in their own skin.
But when it turns from self-esteem into hatred toward others a line has been crossed.
So while Bill Riccio may be giving kids a roof over their heads and something to identify with, his message is ultimately one of hate.
