E3: Nintendo Announces Wii Zapper

At the E3 press conference today, Nintendo announced the a new "Zapper" enclosure for the Wii Remote.
The Wii Zapper will house the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in a two-handed gun configuration, and will be usable with, among other titles, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and a new Medal of Honor game.

The Zapper will be packaged with first-party software and sell for an MSRP of $19.99. Next Generation will have full report on the entirety of the press conference as soon as possible.

I'll save you the trouble. Mario Galaxy is coming out for the holidays. Also to be release, metroid, smash brothers, Advance wars DS 2, and some track and field game with mario and sonic.

nice! i've always liked gun games like virtua cop, duck hunt and even super scope. I think the wii-mote was ingenious and this rifle add-on will be neat. i just wish the wii was easier to find at stores.
