Doubt this is going to do as good as they expect.

Anybody who's been interested in the full band experience has already picked up RockBand. But then the drums aren't cross compatible.

They are trying to make it seem like a cool original idea. But if it operates in the same way that Guitar Hero has, it'll be like rock band, but with less content. (Remember by the time this comes out Rock band will have two years of DLC available).

I do like the guitar hero drum setup with cymbals.

but, i dont want to have 2 sets of drums in my small ass apartment.

GH might be late to the 'band type experience' party but I'd hardly rule it out as a contender. If anything it's fuel for the RB franchise to keep up and possibly step up it's game eventually. The competition between the two brands will most certainly yield better titles in the long run.
