kicks ass. i recommend this game for any hiphoppers out there. the learning curve is steep and you can't get frustrated by losing, because at first, you probably will. the game actually has a story (too bad its the same for all four story mode characters) and you get yoyrself a grrl early in the game and have to decide whether or not to stay with her when other grrls proposition you. but when those grrls do come on to you, you pick one of em and they fight. SOOOO fun. the hip hoppers include scarface, nore, luda, method man, redman, funk flex, keith murray, wc and someone else (no j-z damnit, i wanted to beat him). im actually hooked on this game now despite a 50% record due to the freakin learning curve. but yeah, its multi tap compatible, i even went out and bought a multi, a carrying case and some new controllers just to take this game to house parties, all in all it's good times.

dope game...dub C's specials fucking gangster shit...the only thing i dont' like about the game is the camera view.......it's ok for one player....but when u get all ur buddies to player...4 player mode wit the set camera angle is no good....there should be an option where u can change the camera angle...

i am playing all of the story mode characters in order to build up my skills enough to beat the more advanced guys. not to mention unlock the best of the rappers.
i do have luda (the game comes with WC and keith murray unlocked), but i dont have anyone to play against really and would like to finish the story mode and unlock everyone prior to playing the various battles.

actually it is pretty fun, what sux is that in order for other people to choose from hidden characters, they actually have to unlock them as well, however that may be different once you have beat the game with all 4 story mode characters, who knows. im about halfway there.

hahaha, huh? whatchou say? well i got the first of the trophies for getting all the girls pictures unlocked (theres gotta be a naked cheat somewhere EABig, cmon now...) which means i beat ludacris with everyone now. so i only have to beat like 12 more doods with 3 of the guys and then max everyone out in order to get the game completed. i really hope that when you complete the game, it unlocks the special characters for everyone to play in vs modes. who knows.
nba street vol.2 is next... now here's the big question, xbox or ps2???

lol.....yeah the game is sweet, but totally reminds me of the wcw games for the n64 (control+movewise)
james there are cheats to unlock all characters....which u may want to use in a multiplayer match....the priest dood is fucking sweet....same with dmx i only made it up to when u had to fight 3 on 1.....then i had to return it....

i already unlocked everyone except for the bouncers and you have to beat it with everyone to do that. then i have to max everyone out and im done. a few more nights. i have gotten every character up to dmx and beat it with briggs. the handicap match is the hardest match of all i think. you just have to rock one character and build up special beating on everyone. then unleash and hope for a k.o.
byt the time you actually fight just rappers (the rounds after the handicap) your character is strong enough to kick their asses no problem.
