Talking to Americans!
If you have ever watched This Hour Has 22 Minutes, then you make have caught one of Rick Mercer's segments called Talking to Americans. He goes around to US cities and monuments and asks random Americans incorrect but hilarious facts about Canada and its culture. I just watched a hour special on his segments from around American and damn was that ever good, funny, Canadian television!!
Let me try to summarize some of the better ones. Rick was the presidential running for Al Gore, and Bush. He managed to ask Bush in a walk by if he was happy to have the support of Canada's prime minister "Jean Poutine" and that he felt Bush would be a great leader of the free world. Bush then agreed that relations to Canada are very important, and he was glad the prime minister has his support. Another question Rick was asking Americans if they believe Canada should switch to Americas 24 hour day. As he lead Americans to believe that Canada ran under a 20 hour day scheme. He had Americans facing the camera telling Canada to switch to the American style time to shake confusion. The entire show was hilarious and I doubt that much of what I typed up sounds at all funny. But if you ever take the time to watch CBC when hockey WASNT on, you would catch some really good all CANADIAN shows. Most funny as hell. This Hour Has 22 Minutes, if ya see it on. Give her a chance. -Myles |

Ahaha, I watched that today with my mom!
"Congratulations Canada on getting your first woody!" (a couple people on the "$5 coin made out of woody, called the woody") That show is great. My teacher used to have them on tape and we'd watch it all the time in socials class. Some other funny ones -- Canada wanting to add a fifth season for the two months of darkness we have. What should it be called? CANADARK. Oh oh and Prime Minister Tim Horton.. And the Russian invasion of chechnya and saskatchewan. :P |

As funny as the show is, how many people do you think they interviewed all togeteher before finally editing all the people with half a brain out? Like come on, they could do the same thing in Canada regarding I dont know...say European countries? Idiots are everywhere, not just the states.
