oh... please do explain your point of view. because as we speak there is an army of agent smith clones waiting to bust down your front door and whoop your ass if you don't provide good reasons why Xmen2 is better. :P |

alrighty then...
U take away the awsome 15 minute action packed freeway scened out of matrix reloaded and basically all you have left is: a couple other combat scenes, waaay to much slow dialogue of philosophical jargon, lots of really really neat looking sunglasses, and a lot of doors that get opened adn closed real fast. I guess i was just more impressed with x2 compared to x-men as i was reloaded compared to matrix 1. But for the most party reloaded is quite hollow and only holds together due to its unbeatable effects. *shrug* B//F |

^^^ You forgot to mention that the suit that Neo wear is way cooler than anything they wear in Xmen.
And the sunglasses they wear in Matrix are SOOOOOO old now. They are Shillouette's and were out when the first movie was made and everyone is copying the design. |

Are you fucking kidding me? No seriously, I mean X2 was OK at the very best (great if you're in grade 9) but Reloaded was absolutely phenomenal (well, not as good as the first in many ways, but the first was impossible to top).
YOu thought Reloaded was hollow? Did we watch the same movie?! Sounds to me like you ignored the movie because you couldn't understand it and only paid attention to the special effect. Sure it did have 2 or 3 corny parts (which I atleast can forgive), but every line in X2 was corny. If you wanna talk hollow, lets talk X2. Everything about that movie was boring and generic. It's all been done before, fuck I nearly fell asleep by the end. Boring philosophical jargon...? Holy shit Im not even going to touch this one because I dont feel like typing a whole paragraph. |

^ yes i got 99.9 % of the of the philosophical jargon, mythical ties etc. That doesnt change the fact i yawned several times during the lengthy parts between action sequences.
X2 and this movie are very different, adn in that aspect i thought x2 achieved more of what it tried to be as compared to this movie. I'll still rent it when it comes out on dvd. I guess I'm either just more critical then you, or less hype-driven...maybe both. B//F |

To me x2 was alright, it definately lacked a good story.
matrix on the other hand was amazing. The philosophy behind it was truly awe inspiring. I don't know, as a whole, I don't know if matrix 2 was as good as the original matrix. Yet, the second one was definately a very well made bridge into the conclusion of the trilogy. |

i will agree, that m.r. had its dull parts, i think the dialogue could have been cut down yet make the same point.
the one thing u have to realize is that m.r. is more of a "filler" than it is a "blockbuster" due to the fact that it is the 2nd movie in a 3 part series.........wait till the 3rd and u may have a different opinion |

I admit that I made an error.
The sunglasses that are in the Matrix: Reloaded are made by Blind Optix. Click here for more fashion tips from the movie http://www.zap2it.com/movies/matrixr...ticle_id=16757 |

i thought matrix was fine. as in awesome. i liked the first one, but i wasn't a superfan of matrix or anything. i saw it after about 7 hrs sleep, after gettin extremely drunk the night before. and i smoked a few j's b4 the movie. hence my point it wasn't 'slow' or boring or whatever.
btw: philosiphical is good, i liked x2 but let's face it, it was pretty generic. and wtf type of build up is it when half the people were like 'oh there's a thing in the water' GOOD JOB! |
