Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Yes I just saw the movie. And it met my expectations. I didn't come in with high or low expectations, but just the right amount :p
I thought the story would be your typical sci-fi "save the world" type, and while it is like that, it's still refreshing. It was very touching and I cried a couple of times LOL. The visuals were amazing. They really do seem like real people. In fact a couple of the guys were hot (one looks like Ben Affleck). Blah stop reading this. Just go see it now!! Actually I wanna come with! I wanna see it again!!!! |

The greatest event in human history
Here's my review:
This is the best movie ever. There is no movie that is was or will be as good as this one. This movie was beyond what i expected of it, it blew me away. I came close to weeping with joy quite a few times during the movie. This movie is the single greatest event in human history. Not only that, It is the most wonderful thing I have seen in my life. I've been waiting for this movie for 11 years, and it has deleveried oh so much more than anyuthing I expected. |

FF RULES!
It was good but the story was lacking!:047:...oh well the graphic made up for it! There’s no doubt about that! :339:
The song at the end was a little too cheesy for my taste :044: but all in all it was worth the time and money :Acidic: (the games are better though!) :257: |

rarrrrrrr.
i loved this movie, the visuals were pretty amazing. i was pretty much blown away the whole time and couldnt really believe i was watching it..
did anyone esle notice that the movie tied in a lot of elements of ff 7 in it? the lifestream = gaia. the crater where the phantoms planet landed = the crater where you fight sephroith in the end. barrett kinda reminded me of the black dude in the movie. in the beginning, old new york lookes like where cloud first met aerith when she sold him the flower. and just lil things lke that.. i actuaally really loved the song in the end. if you have heard any of the songs on the ff series soundtracks.. its very much fitted like the games. i thought it fitted the movie.. i kinda think of ff 8 where rinoa is in space and squall is looking for her when i hear the ff movie's ending theme (the dream within). im gonna go see it again on tuesday. stabitout. |

YEAH Leslie! The gaia reminded me of the lifestream. And the blck guy of Barett. Also the little spinny white thing when the wave was completed in the end reminded me of when everyone in FF7 escaped from the meteor. There was that spinning green thingy aura too.

moonpetalz...i agree with you about the similarity to titanic. that part made me laugh.
as for the rest of the movie...very, very pretty. the animation was fantastic. but the dialogue was hilariously awful, and the story wasn't really there at all. still and all, i enjoyed it. -lauren |

alrite, this is a little bit late but whatever...
i saw the movie, i liked it, but i'm not a big ff fan or anything so i dunno? it was a lil weird.. the animation/graphix were AWESOME! omg.. one thing tho..did anyone else notice that when Aki or whatever sounded like she was gonna cry or something, and it would be suited that she did, there was never any tears in her eyes? it bugged meeh.. i mean they take 15 months ot do her hair, but they won't do tears?! oh well..this movie still rocked.. |
