Mamma Mia!

Wow. It was tres awesome.

Good set, good actor/esses, good singers, great story, and some hilarious one-liners.

All in all a very pleasant night out. I love the QE. :D

i thought miss saigon sucked ass

seemed like the entire cast except for the engineer were understudies or some shit.. and the chick who played kim sucked!

and what was up with the helicoptor and the flag projected on video instead of the real thing? ghetto

"A mother confronts her past as three men return to the Greek island they’ve not visited for 21 years just as her 20 year old daughter is about to be married…"

Basically, the daughter wants her dad to give her away, but doesn't know which guy is her father.

It's so funny...If you even moderately like ABBA, you'll like it. :)

I saw Miss Saigon when it first came as well, as the broadway production.. and the opening sequence had a real helicopter type deal... it was no screen. I liked it.

I'm taking my mom to watch MammaMia on Friday for her bday on Aug 1st.

Mama Mia was awesome!!! I saw it last month. The actresses who played the moms 2 girlfriends were hilarious! The dancing and singing was fabulous. I loved the dance number at the end! With the retro flouresent coustumes... I wish I was in it!!!

I saw it on this past friday night the 29th i think ... my dad ended up getting my mum and i 8th row tickets!!!

It was so good, omg I really needed something like this to brighten up my days as things keep going down the shitter for me.

The singing was really well done, but I found one of the "fathers" to be a bit weak in the first "act" but after the intermission he was WAY better, maybe he was just not on the ball or something, it happens to everyone once and a while.

As for being in it, OOH how I'd love to be, dancing and singing is my favorite things to do.
