fuck that phantom menace shit, before that time:
(a series *books*) book #1 - running with the demon book #2 - knight of the word book #3 - angel fire east first book was alright, 2nd was better, 3rd was best. each book builds chronologically. easy light read, finished each in a day.

^Thats a great series.... personally though I find his other fantasy work a lot better.
The original 'Sword of Shannara' series is an amazing read. The 'Magic Kingdom of Landover' series is pretty damn good too. His newest series, 'The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara' is wicked... he does a bit of the fantasy mixed in with some futuristic sci-fi ideas... cool story. He also just released a new book called 'The High Druid of Shannara' but I've yet been able to check it out. You should check them out Max... the 'Word and Void' series is good but its got nothing on all these other ones!!
