Who has read Angela's Ashes? (by Frank McCourt)
Oh my what a horribly sad book, it made me cry so much. At one point I had to put it down and do something else it made me so upset.
If you ever think your life sucks, read something like this! It really puts things in perspective.
Has anyone seen the movie? I might rent it, not that movies are ever as good as the books.

weird im just in the middle of writing a term paper on how Frank McCourt is able to speak about such a terrible time is such an uplifting manner

i liked the book but my lit class has killed it - gotta hate that now i dont wanna think about it ever again

the movie is good -stays very close to the story line but it leaves out parts i thought were integral to the characterization

yeah, the movie is pretty good, but the book is definitely better.
