This movie basically had no story really. It just felt like a progression of scenes until the end. Mark Wahlberg, or Chris is part of a "tribute band" to the legendary Steel Dragon. Later on, his own band decides to kick him out, and he ends up being a part of Steel Dragon.

It has its nice funny moments. And its nice dramatic moments. But really, the movie's nothing special. I could've waited for the video.

I agree.

I liked how it was showing the other side of the music industry, but that's about all.

Other than that it was nothing special.

You KNOW a movie isn't that great when the coolest part is a bunch of outtakes in the credits, when the band it dancing around to early 90s club music =)
