Man my bro's g/f told me about that movie last nite. They downloaded it but only watched about half before they turned it off. From what she told me that movie seems FU**** UP. I might watch it next time I'm over at their place but I dought it.

ya, saw that on wednesday. crazy fucked up movie, i totally agree. i thought it was pretty good. maybe a little extreme but it definitely gets its message across. the mom in the movie (holly hunter) is up for an oscar for best supporting actress.

That was a good movie ..
kind of hard to watch at times ..because i have friends who went through very similar stuff .well even worse actualy but good movie overall ..I think if younger girls watched it ..would really give them a wake up call. |

^^ nah some young people are to immature to see the msg in things... i remember when everyone was watching the movie "Kids" which had a powerful message.. everyone was like "woa man this movie is sooo cool, especially when they drank and smoked pot and killed that guy" and this was when we were like 13-14... although, some might see the msg, but those are the type of people who wouldn't get into bad shit like that in the first place...

I loved this movie.. and I really enjoyed the soundtrack.
I totally identified with the girls in the movie because I was basically in the same track as them except I was late 13-14 when I went through that phase. It really gives you an opportunity to view things from the outside... a big wake up call as Technique mentioned. The end scene where she's crying and fighting with her mother, is so intense and well acted. Definitely a movie worth seeing |
