Donnie Darko
For anyone who likes movies with a little twist, that little something extra, go read/watch this as you see fit.
Very well done. other 'interesting' books: The African Safari Papers American Gods ^same author, forget who. Anyone know any other books/work following this train of thought? |

Donnie Darko isn't a book. although they do have this weird thing now where you can read the script and the director has written some explanations and comments. Hey Max did you know that 'Safari Papers' is written by a Canadian? Yeah, i own and have read that book as well, but I haven't read his new one. Oh, and the author's name is Robert Sedlack. You would like reading Chuck Palahniuk I think. He wrote the book the movie Fight Club was based on. He's also written: Survivor, Invisible Monsters, Choke, Lullaby and Diary. I have them all if you wanna borrow one. Oh yeah, read Bret Easton Ellis too, he's fuckin' amazing. but has yet to come out with something new for awhile. maybe he's dead. god, i hope not. |

I just finished reading Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut, it was really... um... different. He draws alot of pictures to go with his book too. Very funny. |

^^If you're talking about the Donnie Darko book I saw...i saw it on display on the third floor of Virgin Records on Robson and..um..I forget the cross street. I'm sure you know where it is though. Yeah, they have a book section upstairs and I saw it propped up. It was pretty cool. Had the entire script in it, directors notes, pictures, and clippings from that Time Travel book.
