Supersize Me
fuck this is the best documentary that i've seen in a long time.
it doesn't just shove everything in your face and you don't feel like the director is forcing his own bias opinions on you whether you like it or not *coughmichaelmoorecough* i won't say anything more about it, other than, after seeing it my friend Lauren and I are never eating fast food again. i don't eat it that much anyway, but now i'm never going to eat it. not even on those late nights when all that is open is micky d's. for one thing, i want to see if i can do it. we decided mcflurry's are okay, only because they aren't really a meal or anything as bad as getting cheeseburgers and fries and stuff. i mean honestly, if you saw what happened to the guy in the movie when he eats only mcdonalds for a month you'd never want to eat it again. really shows how horrible that food is for you. not just physically, but it does mental stuff to you too. |

what if you only ate things from the bulk food section for one month? Of course awful terrible things are going ot happen if all you eat is McDonalds eat perogies for a month straight and see how fat you get. there are some OK choices at McDonalds ...and most of us aren't devouring it every day if I was going to ban fast food from my diet it would be because of the world destruction it causes not because some dude's internal organs started to fail when he performed the self imposed grease experiment |

^^you'd think. however, the salads they have, when you add the dressing have just as much calories as the big mac.
and also: Jingles: Yeah, i know it's extreme eating McDonalds food for only a month. But it really shows you what the hell that food does to your body. Like what it did to his liver, blood, heart and even mood swings. I understand that eating it only once awhile might be alright, but I just feel like i dont' want to do it anymore. and yeah, not only because of the movie, but because of the whole corporate take over thing. I hardly ate McDonalds before, so it's not going to be hard to cut it out of my diet i don't think. also the movie isn't just about him eating mcdonalds for a month, that's just part of it. there are a lot of other reasons that in that movie of why you shouldn't eat fast food again. |
