I liked this movie. I got to see it for FREE last night, bc Colosus (sp?) in Langley was f'ed but anyways. It as really long, but I enjoyed it. I thought Colin Farell (again, sp?) did a good job. However, I don't think they did such a good job on dying his hair! Hmm...
Angelina Jolie was absolutely magnificent. I was swooning the entire movie. I think she is the most amazingly beautiful and seductive creature on this planet. I want to have insane amounts of lesbian sexcapades with her, togas optional. YUM. Ya obviously the biggest thing I got outta this movie was major arousal from Angelina, but really, I swear I like the rest of the movie. I thought it was good! |

Yea I got the pirate version off of DC++ on campus here
Ummmm it wasnt particularly good at all, no one was convincing in their parts, there was a distinct lack of energy through the whole show, and even the fight scenes felt laboured and tacky. Just a note though Alexander The Great WAS at LEAST a bisexual, that is a historical fact. In those days it wasnt a big deal, in ancient Rome, and Sparta before that, it was a common practice to have a "boy" as a sort of concubine - for lack of a better word. The male form was highly celebrated, and in Sparta sex among the warriors wasnt uncommon. It was seen as building bonds so that no one would ever think of leaving his comrade to die alone on the battlefield. In this movie though, they did a SHIT job of portraying that. They were far too afriad of whatever political overtones they were trying desperately to avoid. Its unfortunate, I had high hopes for this production, but it IS an Oliver Stone movie, and that man couldnt direct his bread to toast!!! Dont waste your time in seeing it, unless youre into that sorta thing - you know, S&M? |
