As it stands right now it's about 100 bones to get set up on XBL for one year and get your headset. After that it's around 70 or so to renew yearly.... not bad in the long run, especially if you play a lot online or have games with downloadable content.

oh dude, the improvements just came out tonight... i didnt thinkthis game would have the ability to impress me any further... oh well... anyway so what level are all you guys? That should determine who's ass could be kicked my whom. that and a nice "friendly" game of slaya.
I have an xbox live card still valid for sale. that's a years worth if anyone wants it. I was dumb and didn't cancel my free account on time and i got charged for another year allready... so poopstick microsoft got me again! word of wisdom though, if you're buying a headset.... DON"T get the cheapass one that comes with the year subscription. Spend the extra 10$ and get the aftermarket version.... the other one's break really easily.... OR get the warenty from EB games. Microsoft products are crap... but i love em

^I think total bandwidth varies from game to game. Some games, like Halo 2 for example, randomly choose a host and you never know if it's you. At that point you'll be using more for sure.
Other games oviously let you choose whether or not to host and if your connection isn't necessarily the best you can always join another host's game. I can't see you having issues though.... what is your connection? I'm on adsl and I don't have any trouble with lagging or anything whether I'm hosting or not.

No kidding... Marty, just get an 802.11g Card and see who in your Building doesn't grasp the concept of Wireless Security. Someone there should have a decent connection to leech off of.
