Okay, I don't know if anybody here played the Beta version of this game last fall when it came out but.. the finished game is finally out and is on sale at Future Shop for $39.95 from today until May 3rd.
I played the beta for a while and had alot of fun with it, so I figured I'd give people a heads up if they're interested. :D

and PS- the new NIN CD is on sale for $9.99 on May 3rd only!! (also at FS)

yeah, looks like a great game, although some features are kinda like WOW but oh well. I will be creating my character tonight, I have to catch up to mike, he's already lvl 6.

oh and .. girls can play vids!

World of Warcraft i think is still the best one out there. Guild Wars is simular with more emphisis on payer interaction and direction. WoW is story line driven, and much more playable as a single character alown in the world.

Any game from Blizzard is Crack. but Guild Wars is a game that you must play no less than 60% of your time or you will be a lost peon.

Well the beta was pretty easy, the leveling was pretty quick. And the elemantalists chicks are kinda hawt. lol. But my fave computer game, and the only one I really play much of is Lineage 2. So god damn addicting I tell ya.

Back to the point of the thread though... I think it's great that there is no fee associated with this title. You'll get more players for sure. They basically plan on making money by releasing fairly regular expansion packs which in turn just makes the game better. I wouldn't be surprised if you see other developers following suit soon enough.

Yeah, pay-to-play really sucks. But at the same time I do understand why so many games are like that.
Hehehe, my brother is going to see if he can leach me a copy of Guild Wars.
