i always find that with these movies, the theatres aren't as crowded as people think they're going to be.
i saw all the lord of the rings movies on the first day and none of them were sold out. same with the harry potter movies and the other star wars films. i don't expect it to be sold out this time either. movie theatres are so huge now, and there are so many, and they put on so many showtimes for these films that there isn't ever a really a sold-out show. it's pretty rare.

but its the line ups that get to people.. i don't love star wars but i'll probably end up watching it in a few weeks~

hehe maybe they don't sell out cuz everyone presumes the place is gonna be packed so the days people end up going gets widely distributed
thats what i'm presuming right now. i can't wait to see this one lotta shit is gonna go down (i'm a star wars nerd)

I'm kind of upset I'm not at the theatre for the premier midnight showing tonight, but I gotta be up for work in 5 hours. I guess I'm not a hardcore fan anymore. Then again neither is anyone who has had to put up with Jar Jar Binks. I'll probably end up seeing it tomorrow night, if all goes well. It'll still count as opening day so meh. I saw the last two on opening night aswell and same when they re-released the original trilogy in 97. Me and my buddies had lightsaber fights in the lineup... yeah, okay, we're geeks.

Although it's fun seeing it with a bunch of die hard fans (I love the energy a packed theatre has, it defines the true movie going experience), I'm busy, and I'd rather wait a couple of days. That way, it'll still be packed, but not as crazy.

Would have loved to go on opening night, but work and stuff made that a real challenge...but, managed to download it before the 12:01 was over and watched then...still gonna go see on a big screen, mind you, but at least I'm satiated for now

well i didnt camp out for this one. but i did get to see it opening day, just like every other episode :) im definitly a starwars geek. i loved this movie. i was always a fan of the empire strikes back from the origionals, mabey i just really like it when the bad guys win! muhahaha
|
