Metropolis!!
The legendary Osamu Tezuka's awesome manga based on the 1920's short sci-fi has been brought to the big screen by some of the greatest names in anime, including Katsuhiro Otomo, of Akira fame.

Go watch this movie! Even if u aren't a big anime fan, u will be. This movie is awesome-and i could go on forever but then ud be at home readingthis and not watching it. So go watch it already!!

Its playing @ Metropolis (yea i thought that was funny, too)

i saw this with beatfamer on friday! totally awesome movie! reminds me a hell of alot of akira tho.......similar story line......anyways kinda hard to admire all the nice work put into it cuz we were baked.....and the subtitles do move pretty quick......all in all definately worth seeing!

i didnt like the way some of the characters were animated.. but everything else was pretty good.

I agree, just didnt seem right. It looks like Astroboy animated to me.

I wish there was more story on Tima.

The Akira comics have been out for ages dood. Are you buying the re-release cuz they suck... they're all in black and white-the originals were colour. Okay well they dont suck but you cant appreciate the work as much.

And the metropolis manga was cool too, even though it came out almost 60 years ago!

just watched this movie, not bad. i liked the way they integrated computer 3d graphics in some scenes. some of the music was cracked out tho. happy jazz/soul song playing to the destruction of the city? :310:

i also liked the Albert 2 robots...i want 1 :(
