Mildred Pearce
All that Heaven Allows
All About Eve
Dial M for Murder
Stage Door
A lot of Hitchcock's old stuff (except mr and mrs smith, that one sucked)

If you liked Requiem for a dream check out PI. Musical score is also produced by the director just like in requiem and is filmed in black and white. The premise for the movie is that math is in everything around us. Lead character believes he has found a way to decipher the math of the stock market.
