I know man...
The thing is its not even entertaining.. If you I were to describe that movie, I would call it the result of pure Hollywood American media No Stories Just look how strong the military message is in the movie. The power of invasion(Terrorist attack). Weidly reprensenting the world(During Attacks) Really strong american political message Actualy I not even supprise that this kind of movie come out anymore....Just look at most medias in America and that movie are strongly related (Constructing a subconscious america of threat) It might sound like bullshit, But if you don't think movie like those don't have that message I wonder how you even have the pleger of watching movies if you can't understand them.... |

sometimes a movie is just a movie. you don't always have to look for underlying secret messages, especially in a film like this. not everything has to change your life to be worth your two hours. i suggest you stop over analyzing everything before you give yourself an ulcer.

Gusto:
:D Yeah..Its true I tend to over analyse everything... (Not always in a bad way, so it is a good thing also) I know movie is just movie..I am only speaking of understand them cause thats what movies are made for, but in this case there was no story thats why it came to my eyes so quickly..And so understanding the rotten message(So there was one) I doubt it will chance anyones lifes, paper doesn't get wet with only one drope of water :P |

it was pretty cheesy that his son survived, but I honestly think this movie was a decent one overall, it is, however, seriously overshadowed by it's deviations from the book. but the sense of dread and hopelessness was pretty palpable throughout the movie, it was one of those movies where you know the main character has to survive, but you seriously don't know HOW they will
