Just saw it on DVD - excellent. The primary actors did their own singing & guitar stuff & had to learn it all from scratch.

BTW the real Johnny Cash at San Quentin event has was filmed back in 1969 & was on TV last night (maybe will repeat) on one of the specialty channels. In the movie he is at Folsom penitentiary which was a few years earlier I think, but similar.
