i think alot of them are not just jerks who want to get on tv..but people that are put up to it by the show. they CANT be that redick.

i just about fell off the couch when simon said "do we have a bigger stage this year" and then when paula said "she's like frenchie" and cowell came back with "more like all of france!"

those 2 lines of his made that 2 hours wasted worth it!

See i knew when i saw that ashlee was last person to write in this thread that she would say exactly what i think. !!! :) She's just on it like that but seriously, i know how these competitons operate, and it takes a LONG TIME to get to the REAL judges. You have to make it through a bunch of group auditions...and you don't get through to simon and paula unless you've made it through a few hoops. These people may actually think they are good on TV because they were mislead into thinking they "made it far" through the audition process..it's totally a scam for ratings and drama. They probably turn away REAL TALENT for crap just to make it all exciting. Like the guy with no shoes, why the fuck did he deserve to go to hollywood because he'll be entertaining??

They say it's all about the music...and the voice but then they talk SO much about people's apperances and bring in their families?

i know it's not just a contest... it's televison but i wasn't that impressed tonight and i was glued to the screen watching bo bice last year with my sister. We actually call each other bo as a nickname now from it all...good times were had, i can only hope we can have some of that again this round...???

but a lot of the time, i feel that they are there because they are good at sucking...maybe they really "can" sing but sing good until the last round (which is paula, simon, and randy)..and then screw around so they get on tv?
or maybe they just really suck and pass the earlier rounds for entertainment?

i wonder if those that suck REALLY think they are super? i feel sorry for them if they do...their friends and family lie to them..

I have this wierd thing where if somebody is embarassing themselves that I start to feel embarassed too.... I can't handle it at all so I have to change the channel.
