I'm starting to really like the movies Elijah wood picks to make...

everything is illuminated is Elijah who an amarican jewish boy with a strange compulsion to collect strange things who returns to the ukraine to find the woman who "helped" his grandfather escape the nazis. His translator's broken english makes it funny... but its a very touching movie!

anyone else seen it??

haven't seen the movie, but i've read the book. didn't really dig the book that much.

i want to see the film though.

I could see it being a very boring book to read... its a little slow....but the broken english makes the movie sooo funny.

the movie kinda sucks.. although i was stoned while i watched it, i dont think i could comprehend what was going on

tho even sober for a part or two I was a little lost.
