Define "old"
Donnie Darko is a great movie but barely a half decade old. Horsefeathers Possibly one of the funniest black & white movies ever made Star Wars (original Trilogy). If you can get your hands on the THX-rerelease VHS copies (the black ones with the big faces on the sides) you can see what people were captivated by in the 70s as opposed to Lucas' bastardized CG monolith you can get on DVD. Fuck who shoots first, There should be ONE fucking shot and Greedo is dead.

^^ You just added the goonies to make it more authentically "old" movies, didn't you? ADMIT IT!
That reminds me: Clerks, the second funniest black & white movie. Revenge of the Nerds UHF and it's not a movie but I picked up the first season of Twin Peaks on VHS from a used bookstore yesterday and I'm reminding myself of how cool a show this is. I recommend checking it out and then the two movies ("Twin Peaks" and "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me").
