I've been recently downloading and watching this show off myspleen.net... It's an old show starring Leslie Neilson, and it's the series that The Naked Gun movies were based off of. Also written/produced by the ZAZ team (Zucker/Abrams/Zucker)

Jesus fuck, they just don't make comedy like this anymore. Sight gags, plays on words, just downright silliness, all done to the background of a Dragnet-esque old-style cop show. Only six episodes ever made, but if you liked anything about the Naked Gun flicks I highly recommend you check this madness out.
