they didn't throw it away. the series finale ends with ajax's mom comes back into duckman's life right when he's on the alter just about to get married and a caption reads "to be continued?" and that was the end of it.

god damn it i loved that show. i like the one where he's asked to give a urine sample after a night of bindge drinking, walks into the bathroom, screams, comes back out with this jaggaded little object. the doctor touches it, pricks himself and says "hmm. well, that's the first time i've ever cut myself from a urine sample........."
