What originally hooked you into the DJing scene?

I was an vocalist over house music, then I got into d&b and became an MC.. after mcing over a lot of half assed djs i thought "I can do better. ;)

What is your most treasured record and why?

I've got an original pressing of Kurtis Blow's "Christmas Rapping" that's in pristine condition - thank you Otis - and it will stay that way.

Have you got any funny/horrific DJing stories?

I was flown out to a small town in Northern Cali to play, so small that the airport closed at 10 pm. When my ride didn't show up I was left sitting alone on a bench outside the dead and silent airport with coyotes howling. They showed up 4 hours later explaining that two cars in a row had broken down on their way to pick me up. Then I played my set and had to get back to Vancouver immediately afterwards!

What do you like the most about DJing?

The interaction with the crowd, the rush from knowing that you've changed the moods of an entire room of people and made their night awesome.
