A friend who had a pair of 1200's in his living room back in 1996. I spent two days on them non-stop and that was that!

You mean like the time I traveled with a busted ankle to the Winter Music Conference in Miami to compete in the WMC/DMC DJ Spin-off, only to have the contest get rained out before I had my turn to play?? It was funny and horrific all at the same time ....

What does your DJ name signify?

My girlfriend at the time wasn't into the scene and thought it was cute how DJ's had nicknames. She pinched my cheek and told me i was her little Strawberry Smoothie (awwww ... ). Some friends were throwing a party, and somehow found out, and put me on their flyer as Strawberry Smoothie. I think i played one or two of my very first gigs like that then decided I should probably drop the "Strawberry" part. =)
