Combined efforts of DJ Brat and Van Tek are the direct results of "Dope Tito", with over 20 years of dj'ing and producing experience.Quickly after joining Sovereign House Records and working with top talent on producing, as well as, remixing. Dope Tito has been gaining local and international recognition at an alarming rate. Their first track "Keep It Funky" had reached top 100 best sellers charts on multiple sites which also has been remixed by Marzetti & Shawn Jacobson. This was the beginning that opened the door for the Dope Tito duo to start gaining momentum in the producing industry.
Shortly after was the breaks release "Do You Speak Breaks"? Vol.1 which included the singles "Get Tokin" & "Rollin Dope", which is also under Sovereign House Records. Both tracks hit the top ten best sellers list on Trackitdown.net (where it was also a featured breaks track), Juno Records, In the mix, and #18 on Beatport's top breaks list which held for several weeks.
Now awaiting their remixes of General Levy, Leonski & Mya to be released, Dope Tito has also started producing for another label, "Bass Bytes Records" out of Los Angeles, California. This new connection has lead to "Universals" interest in using their original tracks and remixes for a compulation CD mixed by FX Logik. With all this attention and hype on this producing team it will be exciting to see what these boys come out with next.

I one of the lucky one to have been able to watch these guys live may times, and have come up the scene in a hurry. Their music is edgy wiht funky bass lines that will keep you movin. If you get a chance to see them or down load their music i highly suggest you do.
