New netlabel launch compilation - requesting submissions

Josh (Xyn) and I have been preparing to launch our new DRM-free netlabel over the past few months. The name we have chosen is Xynthetic Netlabel, and the pre-launch site can be found here: http://www.xynthetic.com.

We're now preparing our initial release schedule and are calling for submissions for artists who would be interested in participating. We're planning on starting out releasing compilations and EPs under Creative Commons (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.5). Our main focus is music for music's sake and gaining exposure for tracks and artists, so we make the downloads available for free. As such we don't offer points or cash on the releases. We do have an online store setup for artist and label merchandise, however.

With launch we are planning on making a number of releases available, including a compilation entitled 'Statement of Purpose.' Artists that have committed to contributing to the compilation include Exillon (Ad Noiseam, PuZZling), Userwave (Secret Weapon), and Portland (n5MD, Piehead). Mike Cadoo will also be reviving his Dryft project to provide a brand new track for the launch compilation. We are currently talking with a number of other artists as well.

We are looking for artists making quality Electro, Techno, IDM, Drum'n'Bass, or a combination / derivative of those styles. Artists retain the full rights to their work released through the netlabel.
