Alright, seriously. As much as it sucks when a mix doesn't get the publicity the dj thinks it deserves, it makes you look just as bad when you, and I quote, call someone elses a "pop trance bs mix." Thats the style, take it or leave it. The end section of your paragraph is all about peace and love and openmindedness, and the opening of your post is just the opposite "I'm pissed cuz ppl don't like my mix so fuck you"

People ARE in to rocking electronic music. Maybe they just aren't into yours, deal with it, rather than cut down the guy who people ARE listening to. I can't stand psy. It's too fast for me, and I find the bassline, much like you characterized Put Your Hands Up For Detriot, boring, reptitive, and full of silly like whizbangs and computer noises. However, I am fully aware of the fact that people enjoy it, so I keep my mouth shut, becuase I'm sure someone feels the same about my music.

It's people like you that bug the crap out of me. Claiming to be so open minded, and a messenger of the peace and love in the world, and then cutting down the poor guy who is acutally out there trying to make a name for himself, regardless if you like what he plays or not.



So somebody go call the wambulance. If you don't like the result, quit posting. Nuff' said.

first off, everyone is entitled to their own opinion- oh boo hoo i was cutting down the poor guy. I stand by my comments and if you don't like my criticism then whatever- like i care... you shouldn't take anything personally and neither should anyone else.

I just found it rediculous that I post trance mixes all the time and get very little feedback even though the track selection is in my opinion tops and very masterfully musical... and some guy who posts up his first popy vocal trancy mix which i think degrades the whole genre gets lots of feedback from you guys.

i felt i needed to let you guys know how i felt. i wasn't pissed or mad, or negative toward anything but music i don't think deserves the attention it gets...

kinda like that new timbaland song that plays every 5min on the radio, in my opinion it is shit- im not going to promote it and yeah i pass my judgement on it because just like you pass judgement on what you believe is good/bad so can any living thing. I'm not going to promote shit music just because it's in a genre i can appreciate. I just wanted to let u all know how much i pitty you for not being able to appreciate what I appreciate and that i think your missing out on something worthy.

The sheer snobbery of this sentence nearly stunned me so much I was almost unable to think of anything to say to it. However,
there are a lot of people who pity you for not appreciating Timbaland. So for gosh sakes, get off your high horse and start listening to what this part of the forum is about. Feedback. Telling people who give you feedback (or lack thererof)that they're wrong, or should be giving you and your mix more attention, is like hitting a cat with a landrover then saying that the cat was trying to kill itself...

so what do you do when people give lots of feedback to some mix thats in the same genre withought even a frikin tracklist, old pop, and don't even look at your post???
