Original Music ???

As great as listening to talented mixes of your favorite tracks is ... I can't find any locals who post ORIGINAL music?
I mean does anyone who's a local DJ compose or create their own tunes?
The reason the scene is so huge in europe is because all the hot original new tunes are being produced there ... we need some local talent.

Well cheebus i've been producing music for a long time. I've focused on electronic genres such as Trance, and ambient for the last 4 years or so. I'll get some of my stuff online so you can take a listen. Or, PM me and i'll send you some stuff....

heh.. Robb, you mixed/wrote these tracks on dinky lil computer speakers or something didn't you?

:)

I really like the music, but the kicks and the hihats (to a lesser extent) stick out like sore thumbs.

To VERY talented dnb producers in vancouver.. Psidream and Pacific aka Matty(who's playing at the groove pt.1). Psidream has had tonnes of releases out, including a new track with infiltrata and mayhem on Payload recordings.. a track with local Mechwarrior called stiches. All these guys are gonna be pumping out releases over the next few years.. take notice.

No, I use 700's... which are bad for producing, it makes everything sound better then it actualy is. I have no stereo so I have no where else to listen to them on.

And besides, I like harsh hi-hats, and higher-pitched kicks. I still gotta fix the kick in the first track, it sounds like total ass

hehh yeah.. thing is... there's harsh hihats... and there's offensive ones.
the hats in those tracks of yours... hate to say it.. but ouuch :)

sorry.. I really don't mean to sound like an ass.... this is just what my ears tell me :) the rest of the sounds in your stuff sounds real good.... maybe try listening to a bunch of your favorite tracks of similar genre right before you mix your tracks down or something. Get your ears really well adjusted to the sound of the speakers you use. (I'm sure you know that already though :D )

Yo Lance,

I'll send you some of Sean's tracks =)

So far his tunes have been played by the likes of Ferry Corsten & Guy Ornadale!

He has just finished a new track, and I have a good feeling this one will get him a record deal. Heheh give me another and I will have something for you as well :p

Rytalin: You're not being an ass, you're being suggestive. Being an ass would be posting that you don't like it, with out having a reason.
Also, I don't own speakers. I only hear my stuff on my Sony 700's which make everything sound better then it actualy is.
Aswell, I have loads of webspace =), just messege me if you want to post something.

Hey Robb your stuff isn't that bad. Keep it up, producing is a progression. The more you work at it the more you develop your own style own ideas.

I'm here I am Local I've produced 2 cds 1999, 2000. Also my third cd is coming up. Most of the people on this forum don't produce from what I've seen, Mux is a guy on this forum that produces.

I've got a bunch of my old work on my site
