Some of you may have heard about a project I’ve been working on with some fellow femme fatales who show the turntables no mercy.
The first, rough version of our website is up (still needs a few tweaks and polishes) and I invite you to take a look and spread the word about what we’re doing. We are all DJs, some of us producers, musicians, vocalists, fashionistas, visual artists, breakdancers, journalists, but all with a love of the broken beat (downtempo, drum n bass, breaks, 2step, hip hop).... all getting together to start something new and different.
We’ll be throwing monthly events incorporating our various talents and interests in an attempt to drag all the disenfranchised music lovers away from their Playstations. Our first one will be July 3rd, at the Backstage Lounge.
