this isn't just a mix, it's a tune I made from scratch on Fruityloops :D

yeah pretty much... there's a couple FX that I added in Cubase SX, but I'd say about 90% of it was done solely in Fruityloops

yeah dude Fruityloops 3 is still good, but "you could be missing some of the benefits that stereo can provide"

^ ......Production is used to aid the artist vision, not to be judemental of the program. It just depends on what your after, fruityloops is killer for somethings, but lacks in areas other programs make up in,....I guess all it comes down to is personal familiarity with the software, and hardware for that matter. Whatever works :) Every producer should have an open mind, ya never know what can happen.

that's a good point

it's all about what you're used to and what you're most comfortable with

if you can get your ideas out quickly and easily with Reason or Logic or Cubase or any of the other sequencers, then use what you know to accomplish your goals!

it really bothers me that some people feel this abstract need to trash music-making programs because they (the people trashing the programs) aren't comfortable and knowledgeable with the program

Fruityloops gets a lot of shit talked about it, but when it all comes down to the wire... it just plain rocks it, if you know how to use it!

same as any other program, but designed differently :)
