Justin Todd - Guilty Pleasures [DARK dnb][My Best Tune Yet!!!!]

http://www.diversedev.com/music/Just...0Pleasures.mp3

Dark, over-compressed bass and distorted drum madness with smooth melodies

Tell me what you think!

:wag: WOW!!! okay this one is even better than the last... at this rate I will have a new favorite every single time you complete a track haha, but that's a good thing. You are improving so much and getting quicker at the process. so proud of you.

ill-esha is on a distinguished road
Definitely a huge improvement over the stuff I was hearing at the beginning. Nice arpeggios. However I think you need better drum sounds, they sound kind of thin. Try using two different snare sounds and varying the velocity of your hits more and it won't sound so "MIDI". Your melodic layering is good... Maybe start with a few organic samples and distort them there to get that irregularity that makes things sound so good. (Analog and real life sounds can do a lot for a track)

BUT.. who am I to give advice, because at least you're finishing tunes! i never finish bloody anything.

Much better work overall..

I was listening to this and I was thinking how cool it would be if he got someone that plays death/black metal to add a few ultra fast riffs, a la dimmu borgir...
