The Butterfly Effect (my debut mix CD!) ...
I am pleased to present my first mix (CD)!!
The Butterfly Effect by Lisa Kay (aka SquiLa).... Mixed all by me from my vinyls (of course ha ha). Progressive (uplifting) trance with a little prog house too. Fellow trancers will probably know a lot of the songs but I hope to share it also with those that don't normally listen to trance! Download now! My main objective is to get some IMO good trance and progressive out there in a mix for people to enjoy! I've already given out over 30 CD's - mostly to people who don't listen to electronic music at all and will continue to do so. I don't care what it takes! I mentioned this in a post a while back and I trust that even the littlest effort - in spreading electronic dance music in Vancity - can make a difference (for our scene). Hence the title: The Butterfly Effect (choas theory). I've gotten some really good feedback so far including, "Wow, trance has really grown up since I last listened to it." Ha ha - that sorta thing. And more to come of course. ENJOY friends! Cheers, Lisa K. Trance dislikers! Yeah you! Humour me here, download my mix, have a listen and see what I've got. If you don't like it, then no worries mate!! I understand; it can't be everyone's thing and at least you heard my version of it. See you around. This is a tight mix. I really enjoyed the begining and end of the mix. Some of the tracks in the middle were a little too super happy synth driven for me. My advice...more prog less super happyness.

My favorite transitions are 1 to 2; 7 to 8; and 8 to 9. They were fun too! 4 to 5 was rough but I just didnt care (it was the songs not going together well as much as the EQ's). Last edited by SquiLa; Jan 26, 06 at 01:35 AM. |
