April 3rd - Gum and Nuts Radio Show

Today's show was different than most - started with hip hop ended with indie rock and hit ya with funk and soul and other beats in between.

Triple shot of Raekwon, E-40 track with that ridiculous Digable Planets flip ("we be to rap what key be to lock ouuu" YAY AREA!!), and a good little remix of Big's classic Juicy with Frank Sinatra (ala Danger Mouse Grey Album steez) followed by one of my favorite producers Nujabes (all the way from Japan).

Moved over to some downtempo styles with new Marc Mac (who remade Pharcyde's Runin) and new Nightmares On Wax (anyone know that sample they use? it's bugging me). Brought in some dope funk/soul tracks then went back to hip hop with the b-side to Gnarls Barkley Crazy, and new stuff from Birdy Nam Nam (France DMC Team Champs).
