Can someone tell me exactly why the post quoted above in its entirety is karma worthy?

Ok so i dont think thump is going to get much of a review on FNK.

But I thought the party was preaty decent for what it was. Nothing to fancy but the music was good.

And shawn- Thank You for making sure the sound was good. So glad I can hear today!

this was definatly the most dead legal party I have ever been to, but after about 1 it was all good. Seen some old faces, & met some new ones. Good party all in all.

Ya, no asians, no raves.

Besides, some of them are fun to party with.

I had a lot of fun at this party. Even though Yahel wasn't there (which I am a lil sad about), the locals and Lee Haslam seemed to keep the crowed entertained. When it's all said and done, it doesn't really matter who played as long as you had fun. Ive noticed that a lot of the raves this year have been really empty. I think this is due to the fact that the "Electro Fad" has brought everyone into the clubs. The openers "Trade & Vitalic", played a wicked set. Thanks to all those who came and saw Tristan and I play (before Lee). Lee Haslam kept it pouding and Allya filled in with some good psy and trance. :)

hmm...i've been just starting to go to them @ the beginning of this year. but i've noticed that each subsequent one is more empty then the last. but i can agree w/ you about the clubs thing. apparently, the electro house fad in edmonton is getting incredibly ridiculous! o__O

but yea. i enjoyed myself @ this event. =) it was pretty tame/nothing too exciting to "rave" about. hah. i thought everyone played well, & the tracks sounded really good this time; almost non-existant post-ear ringing this time! :) sucks about yahel, but the local who replaced him was pretty good. =) had to leave 1/2 way through his set, but what can ya do, eh? =/

& like someone else has said already, each sub-group keeps the scene alive. for ex., w/out the middle-aged sub-group, i reckon ticket sales would literally plummet, & there would be no way that these events could sucessfully continue if they were not to attend. =/

anyway. i'm looking forward to returning to the M.L.C. in 1/2 a month or so to see my beloved Ronski Speed. =) & wtf...this venue isn't as bad as people have been telling me.:weird:
