Only Z-Trip seems to be able to make me enjoy songs that normally make me want to tear my ears out.

Props for reviving that old Dust In The Wind mashup from his Uneasy Listening days....

And that CRAZY oldschool electro/techno track near the end was intense.

And his 15 minute DnB interlude had the crowd going NUTS.

Fuck, I don't care what anyone says. That show was stupendous.

QFT - i can't believe i was actually excited when he dropped Tarantula. I hate that tune. Then again, it's been a good couple years since it was rinsed beyond belief...

Z-Trip is great at not just the technical aspects, but he really knows how to program a set impeccably.

It's true too. Too many turntablist djs replace quality programming with turntable tricks. I saw DJ A-Trak last year and I found myself continually wondering when I could stop applauding and start dancing already.

well considering ive never seen him play and theres so much hype i was expecting some mike relm shit. he wasnt bad, but ill put it this way: he wasnt exciting enough for me to want to brave the sweaty mass of armpit up front, but i had a good time nonetheless. and his track selection was very unique.

i'm hoping next show will be held at bigger venue.
it was so packed, so many people i know couldn't get in since it was sold out, i def think plush can be used or something... the show friday did great! :D

I thought it was lol worthy when he said, at the end of the night, that he'd like to play Commodore next time. Don't know if I've heard an artist announce at one club that they'd rather play at another club :D

If i could be blown away with out only beer in my system....i'm thinking it was a little more than decent. Normally i play bad cop, but i didn't feel the need to complain about the sweat or the over packed venue....and it reminded me of my joyful mike relm experience. feet were moving...i bet yours were too.
