Feel sorry?... The guy advertises his less then 2 weeks when the show is supposed to go off. Haven't seen a single flyer at any of the shops. And then decides to try and throw a party on a provincial camp ground that is frequented by campers and fisherman wanting to fish for rainbow trout. Christ you might as well try and throw an outdoor rave at jones lake or deer lake... You wouldn't get far...

and they coulda atleast made signs or markings how to get there... cuz there was NOTHING that wasnt very cool
and how much money did that guy even spend, he shoulda paid the extra little bit to get a good generator and not a shitty one that crapped out after 10mins :S I mean I still had fun chillin with my friends cuz it was funny, but I coulda done that at home instead of going on that long ass drive |

I must agree. It's a significant undertaking with certain risks. I did not attend but by the sounds of things, perhaps some helpful suggestions are in order. Griping and put downs aren't very supportive. Sounds like it had potential though, it's unfortunate that there apparently isn't much good that can be said about it in hind sight. I've never been to Cat Lake for any reason, but the campground was closed, so what was Tourism Canada's issue with the party that had the property owners consent? Was it disturbing tourists somehow? I've never heard of tourism shutting down a party before, but I'm sure there plenty I don't know. |
