good times for sure... got to audition some fresh rekap traxx with success..thanks again solid... need to create some walls on that 3rd area and make it feel more like a room rather than a big hallway...

thats the truth right there. i'm tired of ppl bashing raves its the energy you bring with you that makes it fun. i danced the night away in room 2 the beats were savage. if u go and sit in the bleachers of course its going to be boring.

Main stage sound was pretty ugly, too loud again, but not as bad as IMF was.
I liked Talla's set the most, best mix of songs. I'm glad Solid went and put some money down on actual Halloween decorations this year, really lifted the mood b/c I was so disappointed last year. Vibe was okay, awesome in the 2nd room near the end. |

hmm...let's see, where do i start? i got there around 11 & left around 6. meh. same ol' same ol' normal good times, just like ecsOTK said. but i, along w/ the amigos i went w/, still had SUCH a blast, once again! =) (you gotta make it fun for yourself if it's lacking somehow; right? 'cause it's ALL about your attitude & outlook!) however, the sound in the main room was so attrocious, that my ears literally felt like they were being annihilated. =( (& no. the cool halloween decorations they brought in & the impressive/delightful lack of retarded whores didn't make up for it whatsoever. =P) so, needless to say, i spent most of my time that evening in the house area & the 2 areas out front w/ the WICKED locals, instead of spending most of my time in the main area, like i always seem to do. =P but it was all freakin' good! (ex.: i had the most fun ever dancing almost alone during tazix's WICKED set in my silly trance pants. tee hee hee...) but it was REALLY great to run into some folks from tranceaddict, once more, (you can always spot a t.a.'er =P), & i missed seeing some of the regular kids. =( oh well. 'til n.y.e., everyone! =)

but u totally rocked it till the very end even with that minor mishap during the set. i wanted to ask who the hell this chick was that was throwing up the set. so the review: every year i yearn for the trance headliners but every year the breaks or wtf is playing keeps me in the filthy second room. adam and his tagger opened up the place nicely. but he didn't play castles in the sky, MINUS 1. HAHAHA hirsheee IN THE SECOND room! daaaaaaaaaamn what a wicked person to prep us for carey. i wasn't so hyped for ian kuz i sorta think his past productions were better than now but he still managed to get the party going. uberzone was synonamous with shitty until i heard his whole set. he dropped soulja boy rite? i remember i heard that shitty song remixed RIGHT lol! soma started up slow and i wanted to leave but i gave him his warm up time and i was glad i stayed. mc coulda shouted doom's night a lil less tho. he coulda said spooky or something. HA! and lady ak's set definitely made it unfair that the lights came on too early. basically missed out on all the other rooms. BREAKS room for life even tho it was a lot of house. SHOUTOUTS: since facebook makes stalking easy, there were these two chicks that were dancing all night. Jess & Nic - i'm pretty sure every guy that walked into the room gawked for a good hour or two. it's kinda hard when they had the shortest ... fabric on and just shaked them moneymakers till the lights came on. i hope they're at the next party i go to.... doom's night 2008 HAHAHA |

i was kinda skeptical about going to dooms this year. i flew all the way from shanghai last yr for this one party and it blew so hard, lol. but this yr, im glad my bro twisted my arm and got me hyped up for it. chicks were super fly;) but what is up with the crappy sounding main room again? so distorted, almost like muffled speakers or some shit? my fav set was eddie and ian. everyone else played a great set too. hats off. anyways. hope nye is just as sick:D take care and c yall
